Born and raised in California, Dr. Gordon fell in love with East Tennessee after moving to Knoxville in 1968 and has made his home in the foothills of the Smokies ever since. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1971, where he attended school on a baseball scholarship and received a varsity letter 3 consecutive years between 1969 - 1971. Dr. Gordon remains active in the UT Letterman's Club.
In 1975, Dr. Gordon received his doctorate degree (D.D.S.) from UT College of Dentistry in Memphis. After being an associate in group practices in Memphis and Gatlinburg, he established his private dental practice in Knoxville in 1978. Since then, he has built a very successful business by providing comprehensive dental care in a gentle, caring, patient-focused environment.
Dr. Gordon is a licensed dentist in the state of Tennessee and is presently a member of the American Dental Association, Tennessee Dental Association, Second District Dental Society & American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Betsy Allison, Office Manager
Betsy graduated from the certified dental assisting program 1982. She has worked with Dr. Gordon since 1999. She is currently our office manager. She lives in Powell with her two children, Julia and Hunter.
LeAnne Campbell, RDH
LeAnne graduated with her associates degree in dental hygiene in 1999 from Chattanooga State Technical Community College. She has been with Dr. Gordon's office since graduation. She lives in Sweetwater with her husband, Jon and children, Bella, Ava Claire & Gus. She loves spending time with her family and also enjoys scrapbooking and watching sports.
Christy Howard, CDA, RDA
Christy graduated from TTCK Dental Assisting Program in 2007. Christy is our patient coordinator & dental assistant. She lives in East Knox County with her husband, Matt, and two children, Kenly & Ty. She enjoys spending time with her family. On Fridays, Christy works at the Volunteer Ministry Center in the dental clinic.
Mary Ann Watson, RDH
Mary Ann graduated with her associates degree in dental hygiene from East Tennessee State University in 2001. She previously worked as a dental assistant after graduating from the certified dental assisting program in 1991. She has worked as a dental hygienist with Dr. Gordon since 2001. She lives in Rutledge with her daughter, Heather. Mary Ann enjoys aerobics and working out in her spare time.
Dr. Gordon has completed the Hands-on and Coaching programs with the prestigious Dental Boot Kamp & The Management Program with The Schuster Center. He is also listed in the Consumer's Research Council of America's Guide to America's Top Dentists, and has been awarded a certificate of recognition from the Tennessee Dental Association for exceeding the number of continuing education hours required by the state. Dr. Gordon volunteers at Volunteer Ministry Center Dental Clinic, making dentures for the homeless.
Dr. Gordon has been married to his wife since 1977. They have two daughters, Sierra & Shelby. He is a member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church. He enjoys golf and fly-fishing in his spare time.
Jennifer Webster, RDA
Jennifer graduated from the dental assisting program in 1988. She received her coronal polishing certificate in 1994. She has spent the majority of her dental career with Dr. Gordon's office. 17 of these years have been with Dr Gordon's office. She is married with 3 children and they live in Jefferson County. Jennifer loves to spend time with her family,and is also involved with all her children's school/sports activities.
